A Creative Superstar

Many of our Integrity partners are creative in their own ways. For new Integrity partner, Chris Carothers of Carothers Insurance Agency, his creative talents take shape in his kitchen.

In 2008, Chris decided to make his own sugar-free salsa. As his colleagues tested his salsa creations, his reputation as a culinary master grew. When Chris perfected his recipe, his team convinced him to develop it into a brand: St. Christopher’s Salsa. It was so good that Whole Foods wanted to add it to their shelves! Even though he decided to keep it as a passion project and not a business, Chris still makes 300 pounds of salsa every year to share with friends.

Chris also took a crack at crafting his own wine with grapes he grew in his yard. His wife, Elisa, knowing how amazing it tasted, submitted his wine into the San Diego Fair wine competition. His bottle took home the second-place ribbon his first year! Chris says it was a true joy to create something with his family that people loved.

Whatever the project, Chris puts his whole heart and soul into it to turn his dreams into realities. And nothing shows this more clearly than his creation of Your Insurance Agency, the retail locations he built to help more people gain easy access to great insurance options.

We love hearing stories of how our partners chase their passions, whether it be building their businesses or finding the perfect snack. Check out the rest of the “Inspire” Podcast to hear about Chris, his family insurance legacy and his vision for the future with Integrity.
