A Family Legacy

On the most recent “Inspire” Podcast, we heard from the father and son team of Dan and Dustin Oberlin — Integrity’s newest partners. They shared with us the story of Oberlin Marketing and how they’ve built a family legacy of hard work.

The story starts with Dan Oberlin. Before he was an insurance legend, Dan grew up working the land alongside his father and grandfather on their farm. A strong work ethic was instilled in Dan early on. He was taught that doing things “the right way” was the only option — even when things were difficult.

Dan’s parents also taught him the importance of having integrity and being compassionate and kind. As he built his business, Dan held onto the morals and work ethic his family prized. He also made sure to pass these traits on to his son, Dustin.

Dustin was taught to hold himself to a high standard and have a commitment to excellence. When Dustin would come home from school, Dan would have more for his son to do because work ethic was taught in their home by actively working. These values become a part of who Dustin is and part of the Oberlin family legacy.

We are grateful to have learned from Dan and Dustin. We love hearing our partners’ stories and it’s always exciting to see a family working together to help others. We know they’re going to be a great addition to the Integrity family, and we look forward to a bright future together.
