John Wetmore’s Christmas Trees

Date: August 14, 2020

On the “Inspire” podcast, new Integrity Partner and Agent Force President John Wetmore talked at length about his humble upbringing in the projects of Boston.

Raised by a single mother, John didn’t have a lot of money growing up — but he did have drive and an enterprising spirit. During the holidays, he would take ordinary coat hangers and fashion them into Christmas trees that he would sell to his neighbors. Above is a vintage photo of some of his creations.

We’re grateful to John for sharing his personal story — and for his example of how hard work, ingenuity and determination can help overcome any challenge!
