On the “Inspire” Podcast, we heard from Charles “Bubba” DuBose Jr. of DuBose Senior Insurance Marketing, one of our newest Integrity partners. He shares with us the story of the company’s origin and how far his dad went to support his childhood passions.

The company was started by his father, Charles DuBose Sr., more than 60 years ago. A successful career in insurance provided Charles DuBose Sr. with the resources to support his son in his pursuit of a motocross racing career. Bubba won his first money prize at age fourteen and was eventually racing nearly every weekend.

Bubba’s racing career was further fueled when the local Suzuki shop sponsored him. When the shop owners were going to sell the shop, Charles DuBose Sr. stepped in. He bought the shop and continued to sponsor Bubba’s racing.

He raced all though his teens, spending his weekdays at the Suzuki shop and weekends on the track. Bubba raced professionally until he left for college.

Bubba only rides recreationally now, but you can still see him in action in his announcement video. His excitement and passion comes across in racing and in every aspect of his life, which Bubba says is a trait he learned from his father. Bubba calls his dad his greast source of inspiration. His father’s optimism and support still inspire Bubba and the business to this day.

We are excited to welcome Bubba and his team to Integrity. Go check out the podcast to learn more about this family, this company and the power of motorcycles to bond fathers and sons.
