Setting an Example

When it comes to being a great example, our new partner, Josh Crenshaw of Relentless Insurance Agency, has learned from the best — his mom.

Inspired by his mom’s relentless courage as she took care of four young kids on her own, Josh learned quickly what it meant to step up and support those who are counting on you. Josh knew he wanted to be the person his mom could rely on for help around the house and be a positive example to his siblings. It’s a mentality he has carried into his career, with his commitment to serving others evident in his relationships with his agents.

Josh shared that seeing his mom’s work ethic, as she worked multiple jobs to support the family, helped him understand the value of diligence and tenacity. Those were skills he valued observing as a son, but even more so now as an employer. It’s an example he knew his agents and employees could learn from — so he hired his mom!

For Josh, one of the most exciting things about joining Integrity was being able to share with his mom that she is now part of Integrity’s Employee Ownership Plan. For many years, he has watched her work hard and now knowing her contributions are being valued and recognized is an amazing feeling.

We love hearing stories about the individuals who inspire our partners to become the incredible leaders that they are. For more great examples of mentors who are leading the way, be sure to tune in to our “Inspire” Podcast!
